Kyle Coolbroth

Overview/Qualifications: Kyle loves building and scaffolding business plans, and that’s not just because he was originally an architect. Drawn to people, technology, and the space in-between, he sold his architecture firm, served in leadership roles at several businesses, and then started his state’s first coworking community that now has four locations in the Midwest. Kyle has years of experience with mergers and acquisitions after starting and selling several businesses. He is talented with business growth and scaled a legal business from $40 million to $100 million in one year. Kyle approaches solving problems creatively and is agile in areas of expertise across a wide array of industries. Serving is a passion for Kyle, and he is on the board for three companies. He and his wife have been married for over 25 years and have two adult daughters.

Turning point: A brush with death showed Kyle that he needed to change. While growing one of his five businesses, he had stopped taking care of himself wound up in the emergency room close to dying. Kyle realized that he was living with the expectations of others and not being true to himself or what he wanted. He wanted to be around for his family and not wait until retirement to enjoy life. Kyle then joined BusinessAccelerator to stop the patterns that had taken over his life.

Double Win: BusinessAccelerator demonstrated to Kyle that he had to protect his personal world. He learned that he was in charge of his life and needed to focus on doing less. Having three goals a quarter was revolutionary for him! His achievements and results with the Double Win are featured in Win at Work and Succeed at Life by Michael Hyatt and Megan Hyatt Miller.

Why Coaching/Ideal Client: Kyle knew that he wanted to help others achieve the results and transformation that he has experience. As a serial entrepreneur, Kyle is uniquely equipped to help others who have been stuck in harmful patterns. His areas of focus in working with clients include life plans, vision, annual plans, and quarterly goals.
